Regular issue 6(1) of the journal «Nature Conservation Research» has been released

The regular issue 6(1) of the journal "Nature Conservation Research" (http://ncr-journal.bear-land.org/) has been released today. It is stored here: http://ncr-journal.bear-land.org/journal/34. This issue of the journal "Nature Conservation Research" contains articles devoted to various taxonomic groups of plants and animals in Europe, Asia and Africa. It includes research articles devoted to study vascular plants, invertebrates, mammals, amphibians and reptiles, as well as a paper in memory of the specialist in Dolichopodidae (Diptera), Dr.Sc. Oleg P. Negrobov. Two articles are devoted to the highly famous plants, orchids, in European Russia. Amphibians and reptiles inhabiting caves in the Greater Caucasus are reviewed. Hoverflies (Diptera, Syrphidae) were studied in area of Wrangel Island, Chukotka, Russia. Research notes present data on the first records of Euroleon polyspilus in the Sikhote-Alin State Nature Reserve (Russia) and melanistic Semnopithecus priam individual from India (Tamil Nadu). Beaver (Castor fiber) impact on water coverage was demonstrated for forest-steppe areas in Penza Region, European Russia. Ecology of bat species was investigated in the Daurian steppe at the peak of drought. Craniometric variability of grey wolf (Canis lupus) was demonstrated in the centre of European Russia. Finally, this issue presents biographical data and a list of some of the most significant works and achievements of , the Editorial Board member of Nature Conservation Research Professor Oleg P. Negrobov passed away on 08 January 2021.
