Regular issue 5(3) of the journal «Nature Conservation Research» has been released

This issue of the journal "Nature Conservation Research" contains articles devoted to different taxonomic groups of plants and animals in Europe and Asia. It includes research articles devoted to study bryophytes, algae, fungi, inveterbrates, birds, mammals. Various insect groups (Diptera, Coleoptera) were studied in Protected Areas of Asia and Europe. Various bird species have been investigated in Crimea and in the Republic of Karelia. Basidiomycetes of the Polistovskiy State Nature Reserve (Russia) were studied, including records of four species new for Russian fauna. Plankton communities of water bodies of the Baikal Lake basin and Wrangel Island were surveyed. It was conducted the ecological niche and habitat suitability modeling for Brown bear in the Central Forest State Nature Reserve (Russia). Finally, one paper presents results of long-term studies of Sphagnum species in Protected Areas of the Republic of Mordovia (Russia).
