Special issue 7(Suppl.1) of the journal «Nature Conservation Research» has been released

The special issue 7(Suppl.1) of the journal "Nature Conservation Research" (http://ncr-journal.bear-land.org/) has been released: http://ncr-journal.bear-land.org/journal/39. This issue is entitled “Biodiversity Informatics for Protected Areas" by containing papers based on biodiversity data management methods and (or) methods for consolidated data analysis. This special issue of the journal “Nature Conservation Research" contains six research articles. The first paper presents results data on the status of two Haliaeetus pelagicus populations, breeding on Sakhalin Island, and the lower reaches of the River Amur, Russian Far East. The updated data on distribution of 271 rare plants were presented based on dataset of the Red Data Book vascular plants of Transbaikalia. Results of testing of a multiscale approach to evaluate the structure of diversity of Collembola in boreo-nemoral forests of the Russian Plain are demonstrated. One more paper provides data on 30-year stand dynamics in an old-growth broad-leaved forest in the Kaluzhskie Zaseki State Nature Reserve, Russia. Tree stand assessment was performed before and after windthrow in the old-growth hemiboreal forests of the Kologrivsky Forest State Nature Reserve (Russia). Finally, the analysis of crowdsourcing data of observations of fungi and myxomycetes uploaded by 24.02.2022 on iNaturalist.org has been conducted in Northwestern Siberia.
