Regular issue 8(4) of the journal «Nature Conservation Research» has been released

This issue of the journal “Nature Conservation Research” contains articles devoted to various taxonomic groups of animals, vascular plants, and fungi in Europe, Asia, South America, and North America. This issue includes ten articles. Genetic structure of Solidago × niederederi (Asteraceae) population has been studied in the «Aleksin Bor» Natural Monument (European Russia). The diversity of birds and bivalves has been investigated in Protected Areas of Mexico. Macrozoobenthos distribution has been studied in two rivers basins of the Khabarovsky Krai (Far East of Russia). The nutritional conditions of Panulirus argus (Decapoda: Palinuridae) has been studied in Cuban Protected Areas. Widespread and seasonally variable observations of manatees (Trichechus manatus manatus) have been studied in Northeast Brazil. Age structure and growth of threatened Bufo verrucosissimus (Amphibia, Anura, Bufonidae) were studied on the basis of materials from the Caucasian State Nature Biosphere Reserve (Russia) collected at the end of the XX century. Within-group spatial positions of Saiga tatarica (Bovidae) individuals were demonstrated in the Stepnoi State Nature Sanctuary, Astrakhan Region, Russia. Ecological and physiological parameters of Myotis dasycneme (Chiroptera: Vespertilionidae) were studied in the Urals. Relationships between the seasonal dynamics of soil fungi biomass and environmental factors were demonstrated in predominating forest types in the Bryansk woodlands (European Russia).
