Regular issue 9(2) of the journal «Nature Conservation Research» has been released

This issue of the journal «Nature Conservation Research» contains articles devoted to various taxonomic groups of animals, vascular plants, lichens, and soil properties in Europe, Asia, and South America. This issue includes eight articles. Structure of ectoparasite communities of Nyctalus species (Chiroptera) was studied in the Zhiguli State Nature Reserve and Samarskaya Luka National Park (European Russia). Ontogenetic structure and differentiation of Picea obovata and Abies sibirica undergrowth plants were studied in the Pechora-Ilych State Nature Biosphere Reserve (Russia). Species richness and diversity patterns of birds were investigated in the Initao-Libertad Protected Landscape and Seascape (Mindanao Island, Philippines). Changes in soil properties of xerophytic forests were studied in the Utrish State Nature Reserve (Southern Russia). The role of some plant traits in plant resistance to substrate instability in primary volcanic habitats were examined on the Tolbachinsky Dol plateau (Kamchatka, Russia). Impact of vereda dryness on the insect herbivore diversity was studied in adjacent cerrado areas in Brazilian Protected Areas. A new Ornithophila (Diptera: Hippoboscidae) species was sescribed for the first time from Baikal State Nature Reserve (Russia). The lichen Parmelia asiatica has been reported for the first time in Europe, in European Russia.
