Regular issue 8(2) of the journal «Nature Conservation Research» has been released

This issue of the journal “Nature Conservation Research" contains articles devoted to various taxonomic groups of animals, plants, and forest ecosystems in Europe and Asia. This issue includes nine articles. In the Central Forest State Nature Reserve (European Russia), the brown bear population density and abundance, and the dynamics of Picea abies mortality and carbon dioxide and methane fluxes from spruce trees decomposition have been estimated. The post-fire restoration of pine forests in the Tunkinskiy National Park (Russia) has been studied. Populations of Cephalanthera rubra and Calypso bulbosa have been investigated in European Russia. Cephalanthera caucasica has been rediscovered in Russia (Republic of Dagestan). Turtle communities have been assessed in Bach Ma National Park (Vietnam). One more paper presented Diptera species, new for the Republic of Mordovia, Russia, and Europe. Two nematode species of the genus Eutobrilus have been described for the first time for science from Lake Baikal (Russia).
